To generate more funds for Childline, one of the UK's leading children's charity specialising in child protection, Nickelodeon is hosting an Ebay auction of signed celebrity items.ChildLine is a free and confidential children's helpline for children and young adults in the UK that is provided by the children's charity NSPCC. ChildLine was founded in 1986 by the English journalist and television presenter Esther Rantzen. ChildLine's freephone telephone number is 0800 1111 and is open 24 hours a day seven days a week. Contributions came from singer Pixie Lott, girlband Stooshe, singer-songwriter Kate Nash, X Factor winner Matt Cardle and many more.
The theme coincides with the setting of the TV show [The House Of Anubis], an old English boarding school, so comedian Jack Whitehall's schoolbag and Laura Whitmore's year book have been thrown into the mix as well.
Tina McCann, the Managing Director of Nickelodeon UK said: "It is fantastic to be able to use the launch of season two of the show to rally support for Childline, an organisation that offers such an invaluable service to young people."
