Scopas, Gebeka boards 'Genie'

Key “Genie” thesps are expected to appear in the bigscreen spinoff.

Germany's Scopas Medien and France's Gebeka Films have boarded "Genie in the House -- The Movie," the bigscreen spinoff of Nickelodeon's family sitcom, at the San Sebastian Film Festival.

Key cast from the series, produced by the U.K.'s I Love Television, are expected to return for the €7 million ($9.6 million) movie. A director is still to be attached.

Scopas will co-produce "Genie" with Spain's Maestranza Films, I Love Television and its Paris-based sibling Moi, J'aime La Television.

Scopas has taken German-speaking territory rights. Gebeka will release "Genie" in Gaul.

Pic is skedded to roll early summer 2012 in Andalusia.

Nickelodeon UK Announces The Cast Of "Victorious" To Visit UK

According to the official Nickelodeon UK website, Nick.co.uk, the cast of the Nickelodeon show "Victorious" will be visiting London, UK in October 2011.

To celebrate the cast of Nickelodeon's "Victorious" traveling to the UK, Nickelodeon UK and Ireland have launched an exclusive competition called the "Victorious Cast Fan Event", where Nickelodeon UK will be giving 50 lucky fans of "Victorious" the chance to attend an exclusive VIP screening of "Victorious" and to meet the cast of "Victorious" and watch them answer questions.

Nickelodeon is giving 50 lucky fans the chance to attend an exclusive VIP screening of Victorious and to meet the cast and watch them answer our questions.
