Nickelodeon and Activision to bring video game to life
Children's TV channel Nickelodeon has partnered with Activision to stage a series of "co-branded" events to launch Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure game.
The events will give kids and families the chance to trial the game, as well as participate in a variety of family-friendly activities.
The infamous Nickelodeon Slime truck will be transformed into the world of Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure, touring the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Sweden and Spain throughout autumn.
Each event will feature a themed stage show led by Nickelodeon’s presenters as well as brand engagement activities, where one of the game’s elements will be brought to life.
"We are very excited to be combining Nickelodeon’s fun nature and strength as a family brand with the magic of Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure, to debut a bespoke interactive tour of Europe," said Activision Publishing Europe marketing manager Imke Heinrich.
"We believe this will be the ideal platform to connect with fans across Europe, giving them the opportunity to be amongst the first in the world to play the Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure game and enjoy fun-filled activities in a fully immersive environment."
