Nickelodeon premiered its new series El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera this Saturday morning March 3, with back-to-back episodes at 10 and 10:30a. The show was the best series premiere of a series on a Saturday morning for the network with the first episode earning a 6.9 among K2-11, and the second episode climbing to a 7.0. Each play delivered 2.3 million viewers. Previously SpongeBob SquarePants held the network's record as the biggest Saturday morning series premiere back on July 17, 1999.
