Super Duper Bunny League: Nickelodeon Unveils First Look at New Adventure-Comedy Preschool Series

Nickelodeon has unveiled a super first look at the network's upcoming new adventure-comedy preschool series, Super Duper Bunny League!

Based on Jamie Smart’s kids comic book series, the 26-episode series centers on a group of bunny friends who must battle danger as they defend their city from their arch-nemesis, Dr. Fuzzleglove.

"Super Duper Bunny League brings to life the colorful world that Jamie created with quirky imaginative characters and engaging stories filled with zany adventures and loads of fun," said Eryk Casemiro, Executive Vice President, Nickelodeon Animation, Global Series Content, when the series was first announced during Nickelodeon Upfront 2022. "We are excited for the opportunity to take the comic books to the next level with a preschool animated series that combines big superhero action with silly cartoony comedy in a uniquely Nickelodeon way."

The Super Duper Bunny League is here to battle danger in all its forms as they defend Important City and the world from their arch-nemesis (and accidental creator), the inept Dr. Fuzzleglove, and a ridiculous rogues' gallery of cartoony villains. Whether battling sweet-toothed space pirates, sizzling lava monsters, giant metal monkeys or hot dog-hungry dinosaurs, the Bunnies must combine their new superpowers to defend truth, justice, and especially free time to snack and chill.

In a new video posted to the official Nick Jr. YouTube channel titled "Super Duper Bunny League Saves the City!," the Super Duper Bunny League is here to save the city from a sea monster! Can they win their first ever fight?


Super Duper Bunny League is produced by Nickelodeon Animation, and Robert Scull and Jonny Belt (Bubble GuppiesButterbean’s CafĂ©) serve as executive producers. Jamie Smart is a consultant on the series. Production for Nickelodeon is overseen by Eryk Casemiro. Marielle Kaar serves as Nickelodeon’s executive in charge of production for the series.

A premiere date for Super Duper Bunny League is still to be announced.

Nickelodeon and CBS Sports’ special Slime-filled alternate telecast during the NFL’s Wild Card Weekend will feature the Los Angeles Chargers taking on the Houston Texans during Nickelodeon’s NFL Wild Card Game Live from Bikini Bottom on Saturday, Jan. 11, at 4:30 PM (ET). The special presentation will transport viewers back to SpongeBob SquarePants’ colorful undersea home with enhanced Nick-ified graphics, advanced augmented reality and appearances by fan-favorite characters featured across Paramount’s portfolio. Nickelodeon’s NFL Wild Card Game Live from Bikini Bottom will air alongside CBS Sports’ broadcast of the game on The CBS Television Network, and is one of six games during Wild Card Weekend across Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Following their debut in Super Bowl LVIII Live from Bikini Bottom, an animated SpongeBob SquarePants (voiced by Tom Kenny) and Patrick Star (voiced by Bill Fagerbakke) will reprise their roles in the virtual booth. The duo will be joined by CBS Sports analyst Nate Burleson, with Sandy Cheeks (voiced by Carolyn Lawrence) and NFL Slimetime’s Dylan Schefter reporting live on the sidelines. Nickelodeon’s beloved Latina explorer Dora (voiced by Diana Zermeño) returns to explain the rules and penalty calls during the game.

In addition to the denizens of Bikini Bottom and celebrity fish, Nickelodeon’s NFL Wild Card Game Live from Bikini Bottom will also showcase appearances by iconic characters featured across Paramount’s portfolio, including: Megatron and Optimus Prime (Transformers One); Arnold and Helga (Hey Arnold!); Cat and Dog (CatDog); Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Shadow (Sonic the Hedgehog 3); the Loud family (The Loud House); Tiny Chef (The Tiny Chef Show); Wanda and Cosmo (The Faily OddParents: A New Wish); Reptar, Chuckie and Tommy (Rugrats); and many more.

Nickelodeon’s NFL Wild Card Game Live from Bikini Bottom will also include: hijinks throughout the game from a group of “Wild Cod,” paying homage to classic NFL superfans; the return of the iconic Submarine Blimp, fully equipped to Slime the crowd around the stadium; Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, who will appear on the field to launch pizzas to the crowd; a PAW Patrol-themed “SkyeCam”; brand-new end zone clam cannons that fire Slime, chum, Krabby Patties and more; and an exclusive sneak peek of Henry Danger The Movie during halftime. The production will continue to showcase one-of-a-kind content and Nick-themed elements throughout, including surprise guest appearances, original on-field graphics, virtual filters, and more for kids and families.

Following Nickelodeon's NFL Wild Card Game Live from Bikini Bottom, Nickelodeon will invite fans to join Nate Burleson, SpongeBob SquarePants, Patrick Star, Sandy Cheeks and Dylan Schefter, along with fan-favorite Nick stars, to relive the craziest and Slimiest NFL Wild Card moments in Bikini Bottom Breakdown: NFL Wild Card, premiering Wednesday, Jan. 15, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT). The hour-long special follows a Wild Card-themed episode of the weekly NFL series NFL Slimetime, airing at 7:30 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon.


This season’s NFL Wild Card telecast on Nickelodeon will mark CBS Sports’ and Nickelodeon’s sixth family-friendly collaboration on an NFL game – and third NFL Wild Card game. It follows up Super Bowl LVIII Live from Bikini Bottom, the historic Sports Emmy Award-winning alternate telecast of the Super Bowl, which was the first of its kind.

The Nickelodeon’s NFL Wild Card Game Live from Bikini Bottom will be streamed on mobile devices with NFL+. CBS Sports’ telecast will also be streamed across digital devices via Paramount+, the CBS Sports app and NFL digital properties.

Prince George Actor Co-Stars With a Talking Goat In Paramount+ International's New Ad Campaign

Local Prince George celebrity Murray Laidlaw had a banner year last year.

He’s been doing a variety local commercials featuring a comedic character he’s developed for a light-hearted approach to Prince George businesses.

Then viewers saw him as the Canadian Tuxedo Man in the PetroCan commercials which aired during the summer Olympics and most recently he can be seen next to the Goat Guide in commercials for the Paramount+ streaming service.

The Paramount+ advertisements first aired in Australia in January last year and then aired in Canada in September.

Laidlaw is seen dressed as a mountain man with a traditional horn he blows during the commercial. He’s standing beside a mountain goat, but not just any mountain goat.

“My commercial agent submits me for the roles she believes I would be suited for and then the casting director of the commercial picks those who they like,” Laidlaw told Prince George Citizen, explaining the process.

“I got picked so then I made an audition video at my cabin showing my authentic off-grid living and then they picked their favourites from the videos. I got picked again. So then I went down to Vancouver to audition in person and then about a week later I got offered the job and then a week after that I was down in Vancouver filming.”

They don’t explain the commercial until right before filming so you can imagine what that might’ve been like for Laidlaw.

Well, you’re a mountain man wearing an ear-flapped winter hat blowing a horn and you’re going to be standing beside a goat, but you won’t be talking, the goat will be talking…

“I loved it – it’s hilarious,” Laidlaw laughed. “And it really was me embracing my inner silliness.”

Laidlaw just showcased a second commercial where the goat shares a special moment with a Paramount+ viewer and once again Laidlaw is the Goat Guide and ends the commercial blowing his horn.

“We did two days of filming and they shot a whole bunch of footage,” Laidlaw said.

That could mean there’s potential for more commercials.

“I hope we do more commercials with me and the goat,” Laidlaw said. “We spent a full day in front of the green screen. There’s a real goat and then they built one that looks like the real one.”

It's designed for viewers to buy into the premise of a talking goat.

“And I think it appeals to the animal lover in all of us,” Laidlaw pointed out.

In the latest commercial the creatives added to Laidlaw’s wardrobe.

There’s a metal box attached to his belt.

“I think the idea is I am an eccentric character who lives in the woods and has this goat,” Laidlaw explained. “I collect things along the way and I found this little lunch box that I store stuff in.”

It’s a prop for authentically developing Laidlaw’s character.

“I feel so lucky to have this role,” Laidlaw said. “I am super-blessed.”

We all know that in life, one thing leads to another and now Laidlaw is heading in a whole other direction.

Laidlaw now has a small, recurring non-speaking role in a major Apple TV series opposite a mega-star who is one of his Hollywood heroes.

Natal, Nickelodeon Israel Team Up For Stress-Coping Wartime Videos for Children

The first-of-its-kind campaign. called I’ve Got Me, gives Israeli children and teens tools to deal with stress and anxiety following the events of October 7 and the war.

Young people and children are suffering from the stress of the ongoing war between Israel and Palestine, as over 25,000 missiles have rained down on both sides over the past 15 months. Some have lost friends and family, and also have to cope with the uncertainty of family members serving in battle zones.

To help them, Natal, the Israel Trauma and Resiliency Center, and Nickelodeon Israel from Ananey Paramount have teamed up to create a first-of-its-kind campaign called I’ve Got Me, which gives Israeli children and teens tools to deal with stress and anxiety following the events of October 7 and the war.

The campaign features five short videos starring well-known figures, including Olympic gold-medal-winning gymnast Linoy Ashram, actor Shahar Tavoch, internet personality Dylen Dror, actor Kim Ben Shimon, and actor Yarin Oron.

In these videos, the stars deal with everyday situations that provoke stress and anxiety, such as hearing a missile alert, and offer practical techniques to help cope with these feelings. The videos are currently being broadcast on Nickelodeon and TeenNick channels and on social media including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

Helping to deal with stress and anxiety

The campaign is designed to give children tools for identifying and dealing with the stress and anxiety they experience, to legitimize their emotions – including fear, anxiety, depression, and apathy – and to help them increase and recognize their resilience.

Above all, these short, entertaining videos reassure them that everything they are going through is normal under the circumstances.

Coping techniques the videos offer include guided imagery meditation, reaching out to friends and family to share feelings, counting objects, and other strategies to get through not only the minutes spent in safe rooms when missiles fall but the rest of their days and nights.

The video scripts were written with the guidance of professionals from Natal, which has been working for many years with parents and children to give them tools for dealing with the anxiety and stress due to the security situation in Israel.
