One month after it was revealed that Nickelodeon was in the process of creating a Victorious sequel series centered around Daniella Monet's character, Victoria Justice, who played the titular role of Tori Vega in the original series, weighed in on the possibility of making an appearance on the new show.
"You never know, like maybe you know Tori will pop in for an episode," she told Entertainment Tonight. "Who knows? Never, say never."
"But I'm honestly just so happy for Daniella. I love her, and you know she deserves all the all the success and all the best," she added.
In February, Nickelodeon revealed it was in the process of developing a Victorious spinoff. The new iteration will take fans back to Hollywood Arts, but instead follow Monet's character, Trina Vega, who returns to her "old stomping grounds as the newest teacher at Hollywood’s most elite performing arts school."
Though it remains unclear if other Victorious cast members will be returning, early casting is underway with Hollywood Arts as the series' working title.

In addition to starring, Monet will also work as an executive producer alongside Jake Farrow and Samantha Martin.
Justice, Monet, Ariana Grande, Elizabeth "Liz" Gillies, Leon Thomas III, Avan Jogia and Matt Bennett rounded out the OG show's main cast. The series ran for four seasons from 2010 to 2013 and followed Tori Vega (Justice) and her friends navigating life at a performing arts high school and their dreams of making it big in Hollywood.
While speaking with PEOPLE in June 2024, Justice revealed that the cast still keeps in touch with a group chat and they "pop in" every now and then to chat about life.
"That's always fun when that goes off, and gets really active, and we're all chiming in," she said. "It's like old times, which is really cute. But yeah, they're all great. We're all due for a reunion, for sure."
