New York, NY – (June 28, 2024) – Today, BET revealed a star-studded lineup of presenters and performers who will take the stage at the BET Awards 2024. LIVE from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. Performances by Childish Gambino, Chlöe, Coco Jones, Keke Palmer, Marsha Ambrosius, and Summer Walker, alongside presenters Andra Day, Colman Domingo, DC Young Fly, Devale Ellis, Jay Ellis, Jessica Betts, Ms. Pat, Niecy Nash-Betts, Saucy Santana and more. Academy Award® nominated and Golden Globe® winning actor, author, director, producer, and philanthropist Taraji P. Henson will return to host, and GRAMMY® award-winning global entertainment icon USHER will be honored with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement BET Award. BET Awards 2024 will air LIVE on Sunday, June 30 at 8:00 PM ET/PT on BET, BET Her, VH1, CMT, Comedy Central, Logo, MTV, MTV2, Nick at Night, Pop, and TV Land.
These presenters and artists will join the stage with a notable line-up of previously announced performers, including GloRilla, Ice Spice, Latto, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Megan Thee Stallion, Muni Long, Sexyy Red, Shaboozey, Tanner Adell, Tyla, Victoria Monét, YG Marley, and Will Smith.
BET AWARDS 2024 will kick off with an explosive Red Carpet Live Show at 6:00 pm ET/PT hosted by Terrence J, with performances by Too $hort, Lil’ Mo, Blxst & Bino Rideaux, Connie Diiamond, 4batz, Hunxho, Kalan.FrFr, Mariah The Scientist, October London, Remy Ma, Tee Grizzley, 310babii, and the legendary DJ Quik. Pretty Vee will serve as a correspondent; Tank will host the Style Stage, and Mouse Jones will host the exclusive “BET Awards” live stream, while Jae Murphy will serve as the Red Carpet DJ. Matasa Williams is the Executive Producer of the Red Carpet Live Show.
BET Media Group is also proud to announce enhanced accessibility for this year’s BET Awards. This addition ensures that blind and visually impaired viewers can fully experience the event by providing audio-narrated descriptions of the program’s key visual elements. This enhancement promises a richer viewing experience for all. The audio description will be provided on the Secondary Audio Programming (SAP) channel by industry leaders VITAC and Audio Eyes on BET, TV Land, MTV2 and POP.
