Avatar Aang is set to fly into Fortnite as part of a upcoming mid-season event pass!
The news comes from Fortnite leaker @iFireMonkey, who has revealed the following details about the upcoming Fortnite x Avatar: The Last Airbender update:

According to @iFireMonkey, the information was found within the Fortnite API, which also mentions that the event is slated to last until Friday, May 3 at 9:00 a.m. ET, however, this is thought to just be a placeholder for now.
The news comes as Avatar: The Last Airbender is currently experiencing a renaissance. Not only has Netflix just debuted a live-action adaptation of the beloved Nickelodeon animated series, Nickelodeon and Paramount are also currently working on a slew of new Avatar: The Last Airbender projects through Avatar Studios, the label helmed by original creators and executive producers Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko to produce new content set within the Avatarverse. The first project set to be released by the studio will be a new animated movie focusing on Aang and his friends as adults, which is set to hit theaters in 2025. The movie will also mark the first part of a new trilogy of Avatar: The Last Airbender movies.
