SpongeBob's sidekick steps into the spotlight with new shoes.

Footwear brand Crocs is teaming up with Paramount Consumer Products to release a clog inspired by SpongeBob SquarePants' BFF, Patrick Star!
Crocs' Classic Clogs take on the iconic look of SpongeBob's loveable sidekick, featuring a spotted pink foam upper and a green and lavender floral midsole detail inspired by his shorts. Patrick's face is printed on both footbeds and the straps (when converted into Sport Mode) display one of his most famous quotes from the beloved animated series, "Is mayonnaise an instrument?" Each pair has a set of Patrick-themed Jibbitz charms for a decorative touch.
At the time of writing, neither Paramount/Nickelodeon nor Crocs have officially announced their forthcoming “Patrick Star”-themed collaboration on the Classic Clog. However, the Patrick Star Crocs are expected to be available for $55 at crocs.com. Expect an update here with official release details as soon as they're announced.
This leaves us wondering if the yellow sea sponge will get his own release, although it seems likely so, as SpongeBob SquarePants is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
