Kathy Najimy is set to guest star on Nickelodeon's hit CG-animated preschool series, Blaze and the Monster Machines!
Nickelodeon |
In the episode titled “Super Wheels vs. The Green Queen,” Najimy, best known for portraying Mary Sanderson in the movie Hocus Pocus, voices the Green Queen, who can’t get enough of the color green. In fact, she decides to use her magic crown to turn everything she sees green. From dogs to buildings and everything in between, nothing is safe from Najimy’s green beam. Najimy’s Green Queen will stop at nothing — literally, not even a stop sign — to ensure she paints the town green. If Blaze, Watts, and Darington don’t do something soon, Axle City will be a monochromatic mess by the time the Green Queen gets finished. But can the monster-truck superheroes stop her before she turns their whole world into her beloved hue?
The new episode premieres this Monday, Sept. 18, at 11 a.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon's preschool block, and to celebrate, Nickelodeon has released a super sneak peek from the all-new episode, which you can check out below, courtesy of Scary Mommy!
In “Super Wheels vs. The Green Queen,” viewers will see a strong emphasis on different colors, perfect for the early learner.
Blaze and the Monster Machines is an interactive show for preschoolers that introduces the worlds of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Viewers join an eight-year-old boy named AJ and his incredible monster truck Blaze on super-sized adventures. AJ and the viewer help Blaze as they explore the physics of how things move, master mathematics and discover how everyday technologies work. Even the music in the show has a STEM slant. Created by Jeff Borkin (Team Umizoomi, Blue's Clues) and Ellen Martin (Bubble Guppies, The Backyardigans), Blaze and the Monster Machines launched in October 2014 as the first preschool show that features a curriculum dedicated to all areas of STEM, and is currently in its seventh season.
