Dude, what’s up? How about the most awesome best friendship of all time. The epic quests of the dude-snake duo make them worthy members of the Best Friends Hall of Fame. Except there is no Best Friends Hall of Fame. They made it up.
Sanjay and Craig is created and co-executive produced by Jim Dirschberger, Jay Howell, and Andreas Trolf, a trio inspired by the Nickelodeon cartoons they grew up watching. These first-time creators were teamed with award-winning writers and producers Will McRobb and Chris Viscardi (The Adventures of Pete & Pete, Snow Day, Alvin and the Chipmunks) to make an original animated series for a new generation of Nickelodeon kids—the post-millennials. The series features the voice talents of Maulik Pancholy (30 Rock) and Chris Hardwick (Nerdist, Back at the Barnyard) in the lead roles with additional cast members that include: Linda Cardellini (Mad Men, Freaks and Geeks) as Megan; Matt Jones (Breaking Bad) as Hector; Tony Hale (Veep, Arrested Development) as Mr. Noodman; Kunal Nayyar (The Big Bang Theory) as Vijay; Grey DeLisle (The Fairly OddParents, The Loud House) as Darlene and Sandy Dickson; Toby Huss (Artie, the "Strongest Man in the World" in The Adventures of Pete & Pete, Ghostbusters: Answer the Call) as Farmer Larry; and Remington Tufflips as himself. Sanjay and Craig ran for 60 episodes over three seasons between May 25, 2013 – July 29, 2016.
