ViacomCBS Consumer Products has revealed that, as part of its plans to expand diversity efforts, Nickelodeon is planning to release dolls inspired by social media star and hip-hop artist Alaya “That Girl Lay Lay” High and characters from Santiago of the Seas, Nickelodeon's hit CG-animated preschool series that is infused with a Spanish-language and Latino-Caribbean culture curriculum, as well as many other marginalized communities that the company is working to increase representation for!

Mark Kingston, Senior Vice President (SVP), International Consumer Products, ViacomCBS Consumer Products revealed the news at Brand Licensing Europe (BLE) 2021. “Kids and consumers need diversity,” says Kingston. “If they see it, they can be it.”
