Hmm, seems like not all the stuff I was planning/making will make it into this patch wave, which is a bit of a bummer. For sure there's gonna be updated hurtboxes, new 2D calculations, initial dash boosts & some hitbox adjustments in the upcoming patch at the least

A lot of this comes down to wanting to fix & adjust aspects of the game that are outside my area of expertise. Once Elias is back next week, the shackles of limitation will be broken because I'll have someone way smarter than me to help

Translation: I spent way, way, WAY longer than I'd care to admit trying to figure out the launch state calculations & preventing wector shenanigans, but it well and truly went over my head & I had to give up for now

While only a handful of hitbox changes are making it into the next patch wave, that can be attributed to how inescapably hand-in-hand it goes with direct balance, which I'm wanting to avoid radical changes in until I have a consistent means of implementing proper hitstun scaling
