The SpongeBob Musical, based on the beloved Nickelodeon TV series, through Aug. 15 at The Hawk Community Center, 29995 W. 12 Mile Road, Farmington Hills, MI. Performances are 7 p.m. Aug. 13; 1 and 6 p.m. Aug. 14 and 2 p.m. Aug. 15. Tickets are $12 in advance at

The SpongeBob Musical: Live On Stage! was broadcast in December 2019 across Nickelodeon platforms and featured much of the original Broadway company reprising their performances, including Tony nominee Ethan Slater as the high-energy title sponge, Tony nominee Gavin Lee as Squidward Q. Tentacles, Danny Skinner as Patrick Star, Brian Ray Norris as Eugene Krabs, and Wesley Taylor as Sheldon Plankton. The TV event is available to stream on

now is available on DVD.
