Nickelodeon Announces Star-Studded Kids' Choice Awards 2021 Guest List

HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—March 8, 2021—Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards 2021, an epic celebration of fan-favorite stars across the worlds of film, television, music, sports and more, will feature appearances from today’s most popular stars including: Kim Kardashian, Gal Gadot, Robert Downey Jr., Millie Bobby Brown, Charli D’Amelio, BTS, Hailey Bieber, Addison Rae, Sofía Vergara, David Dobrik, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Tiffany Haddish, Anna Kendrick, Liza Koshy, Jennifer Garner, Heidi Klum, Terry Crews, Tyler Perry, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, Marsai Martin, Joshua Bassett, Anthony Anderson, Dani & Dannah Lane and Iain Armitage.

Hosted by actor, comedian and Saturday Night Live legend, Kenan Thompson (Kenan, All That), and featuring show-stopping performances from Grammy® Award-winning global superstar Justin Bieber, Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards 2021 will air live on Saturday, March 13, at 7:30 p.m. (ET/PT).


As Nickelodeon’s Orange Blimp takes fans on a virtual ride around the world and beyond, Nickelodeon’s iCarly cast members Miranda Cosgrove (Carly Shay), Jerry Trainor (Spencer Shay) and Nathan Kress (Freddie Benson) will reunite to present this year’s KCA for “Favorite Movie.” The hit show, which ran on Nickelodeon for six seasons, will be returning as a revival series on ViacomCBS’ rebranded streaming service Paramount+.

Stars from the worlds of TV, music, film and social media will be joined by Nickelodeon talent: JoJo Siwa; That Girl Lay Lay; Jules LeBlanc and Jayden Bartels (Side Hustle); Gabrielle Nevaeh Green and Darci Lynne (Unfiltered); and Young Dylan (Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan).

This year’s show will also feature live and interactive fan walls that bring celebrities and families at home to the main stage; second screen live voting all night long where fans stay in control; a KCA award presented by one lucky family chosen during the show; and an exclusive sneak peek clip from PAW Patrol: The Movie. Additionally, Nickelodeon is harnessing the power of augmented reality (AR) to bring the gooey green slime of the Kids’ Choice Awards into fans’ worlds in a brand-new way. In the Do Not Touch app, viewers can fly the iconic KCA blimp and dump slime all over their homes. The app creates the interactive experience by using a mobile device’s camera to detect real world objects.


Fans can currently cast votes on the official Kids’ Choice Awards website, www.KidsChoiceAwards.com, and on the Screens Up app on supported iPad, iPhone and Android devices in the U.S. International fans can cast votes at kca.nick.tv through the Nick Play app in regions where it is available. Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards 2021 has just got even more star-studded!

Nickelodeon today (March 5) announced that Kim Kardashian and four-time KCA winner JoJo Siwa will be making appearances at the event this year, along with stars like BTS, Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown, the cast of iCarlySide Hustle stars Jules LeBlanc and Jayden Bartels, Unfiltered cast members Gabrielle Nevaeh Green and Darci Lynne, Young Dylan and That Girl Lay Lay!

Joining them will be Anthony Anderson, Marsai Martin, and Anna Kendrick, and Kenan Thompson’s onscreen daughters from Kenan, Dani and Dannah Lane.

Update (3/7) - High School Musical: The Musical: The Series actor Joshua Bassett is getting in on the fun at the highly anticipated event, along with TikTok stars Charli D’Amelio, David Dobrik and Addison Rae, and Wonder Woman actor Gal Gadot!

Update (3/7) - Tiffany Haddish, and Hamilton himself, Lin Manuel Miranda will also be part of KCA 2021!

The show is set to be hosted by a Nickelodeon legend, aka former All That superstar turned Saturday Night Live cast member Kenan Thompson. Just like last year, the KCAs will be held virtually due to the coronavirus pandemic. 

Justin Bieber will also perform at the event, which marks 10 years since he was first nominated for an award at the show.

What can fans expect during the 2021 KCAs? Well, according to the network itself, Nickelodeon’s iconic orange blimp will “take fans on a wild ride around the world and beyond” for the first time ever. Not only will viewers get to see the KCA venue like normal, but they’ll also be invited into star’s homes along with outer space and Bikini Bottom for a visit from SpongeBob SquarePants. As for the awards themselves, fans are able to cast their votes now on the show’s official website. They can also vote through Twitter and Instagram.

Nickelodeon is promising the “biggest Slime-ultanious Sliming of all time!” And while the in-person audience will be understandably limited, there will be a massive fan wall showcasing families enjoying the show from the comfort of their own homes.
