Fans were delighted when it was announced in December that Paramount+ was reviving Nickelodeon's beloved comedy series iCarly, and it looks like there could be plans to revive another modern day Nickelodeon classic, Victorious!
Talking to fans on Twitter in January 2021, Jay Kogen, one of the producers of Paramount+'s upcoming iCarly revival, revealed that he has friends who were trying to develop a Victorious revival! There's only one snag: They couldn't get show star Victoria Justice on board:
I have no idea. I supposes they could always remake it without Victoria Justice.

In a Tweet earlier in the month, Kogen suggested that, instead of a revival, Nickelodeon could remake the series, albeit without Victoria Justice:
I only know i had friends who were trying to develop it and couldn't get Victoria on board. Doesn't mean that is for every version of the project.

Victoria might not be the only hurdle producers would have to get over to revive Victorious. Victoria's co-star Ariana Grande, who played Tori's friend Cat Valentine on the show, has become a global superstar since the show wrapped, meaning the singer-actor is pretty busy these days.
Initially running for 57 episodes across four seasons between March 27, 2010 – February 2, 2013 on Nickelodeon, Victorious followed the life of Tori Vega (Justice), who, after years of living in her older sister's shadow, was invited to attend Hollywood Arts, a high school with a focus on the performing arts. While the invitation came as a surprise — she's never thought of herself as particularly talented — and she still has to deal with being the new kid on campus, Hollywood Arts may just give Tori her chance to shine.
In addition to Justice, the series starred Ariana Grande as Cat Valentine, Leon Thomas III as Andre Harris, Daniella Monet (Paradise Run) as Trina, Matt Bennett as Robbie Shapiro (along with his puppet, Rex Powers), Liz Gillies as Jade West and Avan Jogia as Beck Oliver, as well as Eric Lange as teacher Erwin Sikowitz. The series was created by Dan Schneider. Filmed at Nickelodeon on Sunset in Hollywood, California, the series was produced by Schneider's Bakery, Sony Music Entertainment and Nickelodeon Productions.
The series ended quite abruptly in 2013, without the show getting a proper series finale, which not only upset fans, but also the show's stars.
The series was spun off with iCarly for Sam & Cat, which saw Grande and iCarly star Jennette McCurdy reprise their respective roles.
In March 2020, the cast of Victorious held a virtual reunion for fans to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their show.
Victorious is available to stream on Paramount+.
