Nick News Brief: Adult Swim Canada, the Canadian version of Cartoon Network's hit older-skewing late-night block, has started to air
Pelswick, Nickelodeon's popular animated series which originally ran in the U.S. between 2000-2004. The fact that Adult Swim is airing a cartoon that once aired on Nick isn't too strange in itself, as Nickelodeon Germany, Austria and Switzerland once aired CN's
Adventure Time and
The Amazing World of Gumball. However, what is strange is the age rating Adult Swim has given it: During it's original run on Nick, the
show had TV-Y and TV-Y7 age ratings, meaning it was suitable for most audiences. However, Adult Swim has re-rated it with a 14+ rating, plus given it a mature subject matter disclaimer card.
