Responding to criticism that the scene looks low-res, SpongeBob SquarePants executive producer Vincent Waller, who also serves as a co-executive producer on Kamp Koral, revealed that it's most likely an unfinished scene:

A prequel to SpongeBob SquarePants, Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years (13 episodes) follows 10-year-old SpongeBob during his summer at sleepaway camp, with stars Tom Kenny (SpongeBob SquarePants), Bill Fagerbakke (Patrick Star), Rodger Bumpass (Squidward), Clancy Brown (Mr. Krabs), Carolyn Lawrence (Sandy Cheeks) and Mr. Lawrence (Plankton), all of whom are reprising their iconic roles in this new series.
Following the sneak peek during the NFL Wild Card Game on Nickelodeon half-time show, Nickelodeon will premiere Kamp Koral exclusively on CBS All Access/Paramount+ during early 2021. The series will also air on Nickelodeon later in the year.
