As part of DStv’s ongoing efforts to enhance customers’ television viewing experience and delight them with local, relevant and fresh content that resonates with viewers, staying true to the kids and making the world a more playful place, MultiChoice and ViacomCBS Networks Africa are proud to announce the introduction of the Amharic language on to Nick Jr., the top-rated educational, pre-school channel from Nickelodeon.
Available on DStv Channel 312, audiences can look forward to what will be an initially phased approach of the Amharic programming content line-up that will begin with the playful and helpful pups from Paw Patrol, the eager feathered cadets from Top Wing, problem solving Rusty Rivets and the little girl with a big heart, Abby Hatcher.
Nick Jr. Ethiopia launched on Monday, 22 June 2020 at 11h00 (EAT).
The aim of the 24-hour channel, partially broadcasting in Amharic, is to give active DStv Premium, Compact Plus, Compact, and Family customers in Ethiopia more choice, while ensuring that each DStv package offers value to Ethiopian customers by giving them the best mix of channels at the right price.
