"We recently held an insightful and timely webinar in collaboration with InterMediaUK entitled ‘Mental health and Me’. Panellists described the unique mental health experiences faced by those in the LGBT+ community working in media. A study from the Film and TV charity, of which our CFO Suki Gill is a Trustee, found LGBT+ workers in our industry are heartbreakingly 22% more likely to take their lives.
Here at ViacomCBS we would like to help lead the change by creating safe spaces for open and honest discussions so we can end the stigma around mental health and encourage our employees to be open about their experiences.
