Nickelodeon Planning to Host SlimeFest 2021

When the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic forced Nickelodeon to cancel SlimeFest 2020, it disappointed a lot of kids and families who were due to attend the this years family-friendly music festival, however, Nickelodeon has revealed in the FAQ section on the official SlimeFest website, nickslimefest.com, that they are planning to host SlimeFest again in 2021!


"We are making plans for SlimeFest 2021," Nick has revealed, adding "however, the location has not been determined."

Set to be held in March at The Forum in Inglewood, California in conjunction with Kids' Choice Awards 2020, this years SlimeFest was meant to mark the festival's west coast debut, however, due to the rapid spread of COVID-19 around the world, Nickelodeon had to cancel the festival and postpone Kids' Choice Awards 2020, eventually airing a virtually produced version titled "Celebrate Together" in May. This year's SlimeFest would have featured Nickelodeon star and YouTube sensation JoJo Siwa, breakout pop group Why Don’t We, Grammy® Award-nominated multiplatinum artist French Montana, viral chart-topper Blanco Brown and 2017 America's Got Talent champion Darci Lynne Farmer take the stage, along with special appearances by cast members of All That (Ryan Alessi, Aria Brooks, Reece Caddell, Kate Godfrey, Gabrielle Nevaeh Green, Nathan Janak, Lex Lumpkin and Chinguun Sergelen) and Henry Danger (Cooper Barnes, Sean Ryan Fox, Michael D. Cohen), along with Young Dylan, and more.

Please note that this only applies to SlimeFest USA. At the time of posting, Nickelodeon is still planning to host SlimeFest UK in Blackpool and, for the first time in London in October 2020. Click here for details.

In related Nickelodeon Experiences news, With COVID-19 continuing to shut down businesses and events, many have also been wondering about the future of Nickelodeon Slime City, the brand’s first-ever pop-up experience dedicated to all things slime.
