Emma and DayDay Toll have some new neighbors who seem a bit out of the ordinary. The eerie family--a couple and their anemic-looking son--wear only black and are never seen during the day. A workman informs the kids that they are from Transylvania. When the mailman is getting unusually tired and pale passers-by sport band-aids on their necks, Emma comes to a natural conclusion--the neighbors are vampires. DayDay is skeptical but Emma is not taking any chances: garlic, crosses, and wooden spikes--just in case. Suspicions seem confirmed as the kids find a store of blood in the neighbor's basement. .
