In addition to live music, Nickelodeon SlimeFest will showcase one-of-a-kind experiences for the entire family featuring the network’s signature green slime. New activations for this year include a Slime Maze and an expanded Slime Central, where over 30 people can get slimed simultaneously. Festivalgoers can also experience the giant slime pit in front of the stage; make their own slime at the Slime Lab; participate in a silent Slime Disco; and purchase exclusive SlimeFest merchandise.
Nickelodeon SlimeFest will also feature appearances by Nick stars: Annie LeBlanc (Annie vs. Hayley); Scarlet Spencer and Dallas Dupree Young (Cousins For Life); Ella Anderson and Riele Downs (Henry Danger); and Owen Joyner and Daniella Perkins (Knight Squad).
Chance the Rapper is an international hip-hop superstar. He’s won three Grammys. His album Coloring Book debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 200 in 2016, with 57 million streams in its first week. He’s performed on “Saturday Night Live” twice. With his release “Coloring Book”, the Chicago native took the step from being acclaimed to becoming adored. And that’s by fans and critics alike. His gospel rap, where holiness meets the street has established the young rapper in the forefront of hip hop’s development. When he’s not pushing boundaries or rapping about love and compassion, he’s also an important political voice in his community in Chicago.
Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, Rod "Hotrod" Stafari graduated from Morgan Park High School where he first found his love for music by making mix tapes & selling CDs. From there, he attended Kennedy King College, and Morton College for 2 years on a basketball scholarship while getting his Associate Degree in the Arts. Stafari also attended Graceland University in Iowa on a basketball scholarship. He then attended Chicago State University where he was mentored by the late great Devin Washington. He guided Stafari and brought out a person in him that he doubted he could ever become. Stafari was brought into Power 92.3 under Tone & Shagg sitting in the shows everyday learning, being mentored, being guided to the point he's at now.
