Cynopsis Kids has announced the very exciting news that Nickelodeon scooped up a raft of awards and honorable mentions at the 2018 Cynopsis Kids Imagination Awards!
Cynopsis Kids’ seventh annual Imagination Awards (previously the !magination Awards) highlighted the most outstanding multiplatform programming and campaigns - and the executives behind the scenes - in kids, tween and teen entertainment.
The 7th annual Cynopsis Imagination Awards took place on Tuesday, September 25th at the Yale Club in New York City, NY. Sponsored by pocket.watch, the breakfast event was a "who's who" of kids and family media, with comedic relief from guest presenters Paul Costabile (NBCUniversal's Bluprint), David Osmond (Wonderama) and Oneika Raymond (Travel Channel).
"The audience for kids media demands continually evolving technology, fresh formats and a fun spirit. The winners and finalists at this year's Cynopsis Imagination Awards exemplify just that, displaying excellence in content and complementary campaigns," says Cathy Applefeld Olson, show producer and editor of Cynopsis Kids.
Imagination Award winners were recognized in more than 40 categories that spanned content, marketing, talent, technology and more. Cynopsis also honored two industry veterans with Luminary Awards. Fred Seibert, founder of Frederator Networks and chief creative officer of WOW! Unlimited Media among his most recent accomplishments, was feted by media legend Gerry Laybourne, media entrepreneur, supporter of female leaders and entrepreneurs, co-founder of Katapult, and former Nickelodeon President, and show creator Terri Minsky, the vision behind hit Disney Channel series Andi Mack and Lizzie McGuire, was introduced by the star of Andi Mack, Peyton Elizabeth Lee.
