Vincent Waller, the Creative Director on Nickelodeon's hit original animated series SpongeBob SquarePants, has unveiled a selection of Sponge-Tastic videos on his official YouTube channel featuring a behind-the-scenes look at how Tom Kenny and the production crew filmed the Patchy The Pirate and Potty the Parrot live-action scenes for the SpongeBob SquarePants episode "Feral Friends"! Check them out below!
Shooting the Patchy segment of Feral Friends
Before putting Tom Kenny in the boat we first had to make sure it would float.
Tom spent two days in this boat, which had a slow leak. Meaning he was pretty much soaked up to his hips the entire shoot. Tom Kenny is a trooped.
