Lizzy Greene is here to shatter all your thoughts about what it really means to be a young actor in Hollywood.
The Nickelodeon actor stars on Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn and reveals that it’s actually more work than you think it is!
“We work really long hours,” she revealed to HuffPo’s The Tea newsletter. “People think of a kids’ TV show and don’t really know how much work actually goes into it.”
Lizzy adds, “You’re working 9.5 hours per day. When I first heard that number, I was really surprised. I thought it was just three days a week, go in for maybe four hours, and you shoot a show. But it’s much more complicated than that.”
And, don’t forget about school!
“You have to balance it with school, which is the number one priority. We work like actual adults. You have to work really hard to excel in this industry and at your craft,” Lizzy says.
“Luckily, I’ve loved every minute of it. I love the challenge.”
