Nickelodeon UK & Ireland Names Katharina Feistauer As Vice President, Programming

KATHARINA FEISTAUER APPOINTED VP, PROGRAMMING, NICKELODEON UK & IRELAND



London, 11th May, 2017 Nickelodeon UK & Ireland has announced that Katharina Feistauer has been appointed Vice President, Programming. She will begin her new role on 3rd July 2017.

Reporting to Nickelodeon UK & Ireland General Manager, Alison Bakunowich, Feistauer will be responsible for developing and executing strong schedules and media plans across the networks’ seven linear channels as well as the entertainment brand’s on demand and digital platforms. Her new role is announced as Nickelodeon embarks on its 11th month as the number one UK commercial kids’ network.*

Feistauer joins Nickelodeon from Scripps Networks International where she served as VP Programming for UK and EMEA. In over two years at the organisation, Feistauer led all programme functions across UK and EMEA for nine channel feeds including Travel Channel, Food Network, HGTV and Fine Living. During her tenure, Travel Channel UK more than doubled their audience share since 2015 and is achieving its highest ever performance in 2017. Audiences grew across all of the portfolio including double-digit audience growth on Travel Channel SA, Food Network SA, and free-to-air channel Fine Living Italy in 2016. Previous to her time at Scripps Networks International, Feistauer has held key positions at Discovery Networks and NBC Networks International.
