The brand-new live-action daily drama Spell Keepers has launched on Nickelodeon Israel exclusively for yes DBS, which commissioned the series!
The fantastical suspense series, locally titled כדברא, follows determined heroines Kirki and Layla, who have set out to perform their critical roles in the world. As they do their best to save humanity, they must choose between finding their own personal happiness and fulfilling their destinies, all while facing an inevitable collision between good and evil.
Leading up to the premiere, Nickelodeon held a Orange Carpet launch party for the series.
The series was created by screenwriter Michal Cooper-Keren (North Star, Summer Break Stories) alongside co-creators Sivan Shiknagy and Einat Shahak. Spell Keepers is directed by Oded Raz. It is produced in Israel by Nutz Productions, a subsidiary company of Ananey Communications Group.

Nutz Productions was recently commissioned by Netflix to produce a international remake of The Greenhouse (החממה), a live-action daily drama that originally aired for four seasons on Nickelodeon Israel. The international adaptation of The Greenhouse is the US media giants first Israeli television show, and is slated to debut on the SVOD service in 2017.
