Kids Have Slime-Tastic Time At Nickelodeon UK's First-Ever SLIMEFEST

Hundreds of kids couldn't wait to get slimed today at Nickelodeon UK's first-ever SLIMEFEST in Blackpool!

For Nickelodeon's first-ever SLIMEFEST UK, Nickelodeon held two lively one-hour music and dancing concerts featuring amazing performances from The Tide, Diversity, Conor Maynard, Aston Merrygold, and Alesha Dixon, along with special appearances from The Thundermans stars Jack Griffo and Kira Kosarin, vlogger Roxxsaurus, Nick Kicks presenter Roman Kemp, and SLIMEFEST hosts Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely, plus plenty of Nickelodeon's world famous green slime at the Empress Ballroom at the Winter Gardens.

The stars were also out for the one-of-a-kind messy event!

100 Things to Do Before High School star Isabela Moner, Coronation Street star Kym Marsh and Britain's Got Talent and singing sensation Alesha Dixon were amongst the famous faces on the Orange Carpet for the one of a kind concert.

Soap star Kym made it a family day out, and was joined by her son David Cunliffe and daughter Polly, with both kids happy to be at the show.

Meanwhile, Alesha was one of several performers taking to the stage for the unique concert.

She was joined by Diversity, who were slimed on stage to the delight of the crowd. It was Jordan Banjo's first-ever Nickelodeon sliming, with his Diversity co-members being slimed previously for Kids' Choice Awards and Xmas Slime.

Aston Merrygold, Conor Maynard and The Tide also took to the stage on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the likes of Danielle Lloyd Lucy Fallon and Edel Lynch were all spotted in attendance.

Footage from the live shows will be broadcast in a special SLIMEFEST programme on Nickelodeon UK & Ireland/HD on Friday 9th September 2016.

Alesha Dixon, 27, put on a stylish display during the Nickelodeon Slimefest on Saturday.

Arriving at Blackpool's Winter Gardens, the singer stunned in a statement tuxedo blazer while expertly rocking space buns

Space style: The two buns sat high on her head, coupled with dangling silver earring.

Cool display: Alesha injected an element of sports chic with funky red trainers

Superstar: The former Mis-Teeq star certainly grabbed attention as she took to the stage to perform at the annual music event.

Dodging it: She also managed to avoid getting slimed (BOO!!) - something the festival is known for.

Danielle Lloyd made the kid-friendly occasion a family affair as she turned up with her her three sons Archie, Harry and George, who all wore matching outfits.

Loved up: Her fiance Michael O'Neill also kept her company.

The former Miss.England kept it comfortable in a cream sweater, grey jeans and a baseball cap.

Former JLS sensation Aston Merrygold also looked cool for the event.

B*Witched's Edele Lynch kept it casual in jeans and embellished vest top.

Dance Mums' Tayleur Amos made an impact in a dramatic black outfit and lace-up heels.

Corrie's Lucy Fallon dressed in pink for SLIMEFEST.

Conor Maynard kept it stylish in a grey leather jacket over an all-black ensemble.

Capturing the moment: Youtube star Roxxsaurus and Conor took a moment to take a selfie on the red carpet.

Rising stars: Levi Jones, Austin Corini, Nate Parker and Drew Dirksen of The Tide looked in high spirits at the fun event.

Family affair: Coronation Street's Kym Marsh also came out in style with her son David, 21, and daughter Polly, five.

American actress Isabela Moner wore a matching top and skirt to the event.

Working the stage: Former BGT favourites Diversity put on a dance spectacle created exclusively for SLIMEFEST by Ashley Banjo.

On his own: Aston also took to the stage to perform his solo material.
