AUSTRALIA: Spongebob Squarepants to support Breast Cancer Research
Spongebob PinkPants sleepwear line will be sold through Big W stores in Australia.
Nickelodeon has once again partnered with The National Breast Cancer Foundation to turn Spongebob Squarepants pink in support of breast cancer research.
Throughout October - which is breast cancer awareness month - a range of sleepwear labelled Spongebob PinkPants will be sold through Big W stores in Australia.
Priced from $20-$25, a portion of all Spongebob PinkPants pyjama and nightie sales will go towards breast cancer research projects to help NBCF achieve its aspirational goal of zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030.
"We are grateful to have Spongebob PinkPants products involved again in raising money for breast cancer research," said Carole Renouf, CEO of the National Breast Cancer Foundation. "Every dollar raised through the sale of the Spongebob PinkPants products will take us one step closer towards our goal of zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030."
Claire O'Connor, ANZ director of consumer products for Nickelodeon Viacom Consumer Products, added: "This is our fourth year supporting this great cause and we hope that our Spongebob PinkPants range can once again make a valuable contribution to funding breast cancer research projects."
