Breakthrough, YTV and Nick intro Max & Shred
Toronto’s Breakthrough Entertainment has teamed up with Nickelodeon and Corus Entertainment’s YTV to bring the new live-action comedy series Max & Shred to North American audiences this October.
The new series (26 x half hours) is currently filming in Toronto, Canada. It's being produced by Breakthrough Entertainment, with financial support from the Shaw Rocket Fund.
The original series will premiere on October 6 on Nickelodeon US, and then in Canada on YTV the next day.
Positioned as an odd couple bromance, Max & Shred follows the friendship of superstar snowboarder Max Asher and scientific whiz-kid Alvin Ackerman. The boys become roommates and eventual friends, navigating the trials of teen life from different realms of the social sphere.
