For the month, Nick US averaged a 2.6/852K Kids 2-11 (+3%), 3.6/456K Kids 2-5 (+16%) and 1.6M total viewers, with gains driven by Nick's hit original animated series (Nicktoon) "SpongeBob SquarePants" -- the month's top animated series with K2-11 (4.8/1.6M), and its hit preschool programming lineup featuring "Paw Patrol", which is the month's number-one preschool series on all TV, averaging a 6.0/768K with Kids 2-5. In addition to its monthly gains, Nickelodeon's preschool block is posting double-digit year to date increases, up +14% with K2-5.
Nickelodeon's monthly ratings performance was also bolstered by its hit animation roster, including "Sanjay & Craig", which ranks as the number-three animated series for the month with Kids 2-11 (4.4/1.4M) and "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" (4.3/1.4M), which comes in at number-four with Kids 2-11.
"Instant Mom" continues to be a hit on Nick at Nite averaging 1.2M total viewers and posting year over year gains with Adults 18-49 (.30/323K, +9%) and Women 18-49 (.41/222K, +15%), since its Sunday 29th September 2013 premiere. Most recently, the series hit a ratings high with its Oct. 27 premiere, averaging a 0.4/420K with Adults 18-49 and posting double-digit gains with Kids 2-11 (1.7/559K, +13%).
