Nickelodeon India Acquires Broadcast Rights To The South African Animated TV Series "Jungle Beat"

The entertainment news website C21Media is reporting the Nickelodeon News that Nickelodeon India, the Indian version of the popular kids' channel, have picked up the broadcast rights to the South African animated series "Jungle Beat". "Jungle Beat" is a non-dialogue cartoon produced by South Africa's Sunrise Productions. Each of the twenty six 5-minute episodes follows a cast of animals who find themselves in unusual situations. A third season (season 3) is currently in production and will be available in stereoscopic 3D:
Cartoon Network dances to Beat

Cartoon Network has acquired the South African cartoon series Jungle Beat for its feeds in Japan and Latin America, while Disney and Nick have taken the toon in Asia.

Disney Taiwan, Nickelodeon India and B Channel in Indonesia will also air the 26x5′ series, produced by South Africa’s Sunrise Productions.

The non-dialogue toon features a cast of animals who find themselves in unusual situations and has now been sold to 200 territories.

Broadcasters including France’s Canal+, Sweden’s SVT, Norway’s NRK and Italy’s Rai. Ireland’s Monster Entertainment handles sales and a third season is currently in production and will be available in stereoscopic 3D.
