Nickelodeon UK and Ireland have confirmed to NickALive! that the company which produced the second incarnation of the UK version of Nickelodeon Magazine, DC Thomson & Co. Ltd, who also produces the famous "The Beano" and "The Dandy" children's comics, has decided to cancel, cease making and not publish any more issues of Nickelodeon Magazine UK, bringing an end to the latest (2011) version of Nickelodeon Magazine UK.
The first issue of the second incarnation of Nickelodeon Magazine UK was published and released in shops by DC Thomson & Co. Ltd on Wednesday 16th February 2011 with the final issue of Nickelodeon Magazine UK hitting the shelves on Wednesday 14th September 2011 and also covered the months of October 2011, November 2011, and December 2011 (from Wednesday 14th September 2011 to Wednesday 28th December 2011) and did not contain any "Next Issue" information, such as when it would be released in shops and what that issue's free Nickelodeon gifts would be. Each issue came with one or more free Nickelodeon-themed gift, such as an "iCarly" book, a Nickelodeon pen and other various Nickelodeon stationary (Nickelodeon Pencils, etc), a Nickelodeon Autograph book, a Nickelodeon clapperboard, a "Big Time Rush" book bag, Nickelodeon jewelry, and Nickelodeon stickers. Each issue also came with one or more Nickelodeon-themed poster featuring the stars and casts of popular Nickelodeon shows, such as "Big Time Rush" posters, "iCarly" posters, and "Victorious" posters. Each issue of Nick Mag UK also featured the latest Nickelodeon News, such as when Nickelodeon UK and Ireland would be showing brand new shows and brand new episodes.
The official Nickelodeon UK and Ireland website, Nick.co.uk, also took down the official Nickelodeon Magazine UK website, Nick.co.uk/Magazine, during December 2011.
The first version of Nickelodeon Magazine UK was published and sold in shops in the early Naughties (early 2000's).
