Nick India powers up
Nickelodeon India has acquired rights to all 700 episodes of Saban Brands' children's live-action series Power Rangers.
The channel, which is available in over 34.2 million households in the country, will show both the original version of the show and the new Samurai spin-off.
Nickelodeon acquired Indian rights to the property via distributor MarVista Entertainment. The pair has struck similar deals in other territories including the UK, Germany, Latin America and Australia.
